Oh what a night we had, going back to the 80s. We had pop culture and name that tune 80s plus Life in the 80s and General Sports Trivia. We ended up having 5 teams overall and we had a lot of fun!
Our first category was 80s Pop Culture. We had questions around The Terminator, The Golden Girls, and even The Breakfast Club. The question that was the hardest for our teams was the name of the high school in the movie "The Breakfast Club (Shermer High). Team P&E, Misfits, and Team ERP made it to the tie breaker.
The tie breaker was which British band released the album "The Joshua Tree" in 1987. This of course was U2 landing Team ERP 4 Apple Pie Shots being the quickest with the correct answer.
Our second category was Life in the 80s. This was not as easy as the first category, the hardest being which game console was released in 1985. Answer being Nintendo (NES). I didn't stump many about the Sweatin' to the Oldies question, I remember seeing some of that back in the day!
Our winner this round was Team Misfits with a domestic pitcher! Way to go.
Our third category was the General Trivia round, Sports Edition. I did have some tough ones in this round, but still have Team ERP getting a perfect score. The FREEBIE of the week was Michael Strahan which held the record for the most sacks in a single NFL season.
Team ERP ended up winning 2 shots!
Our 4th category was Name That Tune - 80s Hair Band. We always do a quick answer song which was Warrants, Heaven, which Team B's & C's got first winning chips and salsa!
The winner of the whole round was Team ERP winning 4 shots of Cherry Bombs!
1st Place: Team ERP finishing with 490 points winning a $20 gift card!
2nd Place: Team Misfits finishing with a whopping 460 points winning a $10 gift card!
3rd Place: Team B's & C's finishing at 400 points winning a FREE drink!
Next team in line was only 10 points off, way to go everyone!
